Russia Launched A Ballistic Missile Strike On A Subway Station In Kyiv

There has been a fatality.

Russian forces fired ballistic missiles at Kyiv overnight: one person was killed and eight others were injured. The "Chernihivska" metro station was also damaged, according to "Focus".

The Kyiv City State Administration reported on the consequences of the strike. Debris struck the area near the station, causing a break in the track and the contact rail. The “Chernihivska” and “Lesna” stations are temporarily closed to passengers.

“Train service will resume this morning between the ‘Akademgorodok’ and ‘Darnitsa’ stations according to schedule,” the Kyiv City State Administration stated.

Due to damage to the metro infrastructure in Kyiv, the number of buses on routes No. 1-M and 118 is being increased.

Images have also emerged showing destroyed retail kiosks near the “Chernihivska” metro station.
