How Belarusians reacted to the problems with "Yandex" following the drone attack.

As a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones the infrastructure of the Yandex data center in Vladimir, Russia, has been damaged. As a result, the “Yandex GO” taxi-hailing service is currently unavailable. "Zerkalo" reported on the reaction of users on Threads.

“Minsk, Wednesday, 5:10 a.m. departure, standby. Couldn’t get a Yandex ride to [Russia’s] Sheremetyevo at 4:00 a.m.—taxi cost 900. Pasha (the girl’s boyfriend. — Ed.) drove her in his own car; he has a morning shift. Anyone without a car won’t make it to the first flight,” wrote a flight attendant for Russia’s “Aeroflot” with the username sonya.v.reyse

“Yandex in Minsk is down. I called a WB!” — complained a user with the username djeh85

“Minsk, is @yandex.go.belarus down? I almost missed work,” lamented user ta_ild

“Yandex Taxi @yandex.go.belarus isn’t working. Is it just me???” — wonders user olga_shaikova_

gys_ali feels the same way: “A ‘great’ morning is when you need to get to work, but you can’t get a Yandex Taxi for 20 minutes… Minsk, does anyone know what’s going on with the app?”

Users also have questions about other services. “How are your Yandex Maps working, everyone?” writes evgenius_smm_minsk

Meanwhile, offers from regular drivers are popping up on social media. “Minsk. Anyone need a taxi? Message me,” posted n. yakubenkoo

This is the third attack on Yandex data centers in recent days. On October 8, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a facility in Sasovo, Ryazan Oblast, and on October 9, one in Kaluga.
