The organisation, thanks to which everything happened - ‘Ihor Vitenko's Mission’.
Vitenko is a Ukrainian surgeon, who lived in Belgium for 25 years, but after the outbreak of full-scale war returned to Ukraine to treat the wounded. His public organisation is collecting donations for medical equipment and humanitarian aid. This is the second time the Kalinouski regiment has received help from the Belarusian diaspora in Belgium.
It is noteworthy that this time the help was brought by Belgian Prince Michel de Ligne. The House of Ligne is one of the most influential families in Belgium. The prince is 73 years old. He came to Ukraine for the first time as part of a humanitarian mission. It should be noted that the prince was travelling by car, which was intended for Belarusians. The driver was a friend of Michel de Ligne, Baron Bernard de Hershal.
In addition to the vehicle, the Kalinouski regiment also received 7 FPV drones.
