The threat of strikes from the territory of Belarus still remains.

Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Malyar disproved Lukashenka's claim that Belarus is not an aggressor country, and stated that there is still a threat of using the territory of Belarus for strikes against Ukraine.

Malyar announced this on the air of an informational telethon, UNIAN reports.

The self-proclaimed ruler of Belarus Lukashenka, wrote a letter to UN Secretary General António Guterres, where he assured that Belarus was not an aggressor.

“I want to assure as soon as possible that Belarus is not an aggressor. According to international law, a country that gives its territory to a third aggressor country, now Russia, in order to carry out aggression against another state, is also an accomplice to this international crime - aggression. In simple everyday language - war," said Malyar.

She added that this is why Belarus must understand that by giving its territory to the Russian aggressor and military maneuvers, the country is already becoming involved in this war.

The Deputy Defense Minister noted that the threat from Belarus remains.

"There is a threat of further use of the territory of Belarus for strikes. As well as from the Transnistrian region of Moldova, there is a risk," Malyar said.

She noted that Russia is preparing on all fronts for possible strikes, maneuvers and in order to carry out further escalation there.

"We are aware of all these threats and are preparing for all scenarios," Malyar emphasised.
