Belarusian Rail War: It's Hammer Time

Putin made a big mistake by placing his equipment in our country.

Any war requires from the people incredible exertion of strength and capabilities. No one could have imagined that after 80 years we will have to face this challenge again. While the Ukrainian military, together with Belarusian volunteer detachments and battalions, are performing truly historic feats on the main fronts, a real Belarusian rail war has unfolded behind enemy lines. The partisan movement in Belarus seems to have been fixated after the Second World War at the gene level. I remember these stories that I was told in childhood, how Belarusian partisan detachments not only influenced the situation inside their country, but also disrupted entire front-line operations of the enemy. And if in 1943 explosives were the main instrument of war, today the methods have become more cunning and sophisticated.

From the very beginning of the Rashist attack on Ukraine, partisan activity began almost instantly in Belarus, aimed at reducing the supply of weapons both to our country and to the territory of Ukraine. And here there is an obvious success, which will only grow if hostilities continue.

The "rail war" was started by the Cyber Partisans, who on February 27 hacked the Belarusian Railways network. And then both railway workers and citizens of nearby villages joined in, where trains with occupiers' equipment passed. The technique is almost identical: arson of signaling arrangements cabinets. As a rule, such cabinets are responsible for traffic lights and turnouts on a certain section of the road. If they are damaged, only individual trains can pass through the section, and their speed does not exceed 15-20 kilometers per hour. Also, in some areas, the traffic lights themselves are disabled. But one of the most popular tools of struggle is the "false employed" method.

Remember the popular tale that throwing a crowbar into a train's gravity toilet will make the train instantly crash? Forget it! In this case, the crowbar just flies out. But a crowbar lying on the rails, connecting them, creates a situation that the railroad workers called "false employed" That is, a crowbar lying across creates the appearance of the presence of a train in this section. In this case, a red-yellow light will turn on in the cab of the locomotive, which will enter the block section where the crowbar is thrown across the rail threads, which prohibits the train from continuing to move. This method works only in those sections where automatic blocking is used, which has been successfully implemented on Belarusian railways since 2012. The technologically advanced 21st century allowed the rail partisans to do without the search for explosives, simply by applying their ingenuity. Such actions on an ongoing basis help save hundreds and even thousands of lives in Ukraine.

It is also worth remembering our guys who are fighting not just on the side of Ukraine, but defending freedom. We must be their reliable rear. Any partisan methods of fighting against the Russian fascists who are on our territory work. They should feel as much as possible that they are not welcome in our land.

Putin made a big mistake by placing his equipment in Belarus. In a country where the vast majority of citizens hate Lukashenka, they remember who gave him money for his crimes against the Belarusian people. Therefore, Belarusians will do everything in their power to stop the war.

Dictators will answer for all their crimes. They have no chance in the fight against two free peoples who value their homeland, their language, and their culture.
