Gunfire Never Stop: CNN Shows Exclusive Footage Of Battle Near Bakhmut

It looks like one continuous attack.

Very intense fighting continues near Bakhmut, in which Ukrainian defenders use modern weapons in tandem with Soviet installations. The Russian Federation suffers the heaviest losses in this section of the front, but Ukrainian soldiers are also being killed.

The shooting in this direction does not stop for a minute. The CNN. footage showed what is really happening near Bakhmut.

Journalists say that Ukraine has become the setting for a new generation of war - warriors adjust old weapons, while effectively using ammunition from Western allies and civilian drones.

CNN shows the command center of the Ukrainian military, which is located in the basement. There, the soldiers correct artillery fire on the enemy.

"It looks like one continuous attack. The only opportunity to catch their breath is when they run out of men and wait for reinforcements," one commander said.

He adds that the Russian Federation is transferring unprepared soldiers near Bakhmut, who are dying in large numbers. These are mobilized soldiers who cannot capture the town and simply march forward to expose AFU positions.

Ukrainian commanders complain of poor communication with units and a lack of lower-level officers to keep soldiers motivated on the battlefield.

The soldiers also showed journalists an artillery position. They explained that the AFU General Staff is trying to supply ammunition to the front lines, but there is a shortage of the necessary caliber.

The artillerymen note that during the nine months of full-scale war the accuracy of the enemy's artillery has decreased after Ukrainian forces deprived the enemy of the ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance.

The commander of the Ukrainian fighters shared that AFU losses near Bakhmut amount to dozens daily.

"Transport and ammunition can be replenished. We do not count them and use as many as we need to stop the enemy's advance. The only thing that is irreplaceable is human lives," he summarized.
