Foreign Legion Fighters Show Spectacular Video Of Battle At Antonivsky Bridge

The giant pillars of the bridge helped to strike at the occupants.

On November 30, a video from Kherson appeared online: fighters of the Foreign Legion are fighting under the pillars of the Antonivsky Bridge.

The information was made public in the Bavovna Telegram channel.

The video captures two Legion fighters under the cover of the Antonivsky bridge pillars looking for a position to strike the Russian army units that are on the opposite side of the Dnieper River.

The military are gradually advancing across the terrain. It is evident that the area has already been de-occupied: there are thematic inscriptions on the walls dedicated to the AFU and General Zaluzhny.

Eventually the fighters stop at a striking piece of graffiti created by an unknown artist on one of the giant pillars.

The video published in the Telegram feed is part of a report created by the Public. The publication's journalists point out that the fighters caught on camera are soldiers of the 59th AFU brigade.

It is noted that the position has already been changed, so the video footage is allowed to be published.

We note that the width of the Dnieper in the area of the Antonivsky bridge is about 950 m.

According to Ukrainian activist Mykolaiv Vaniok, the Russians were forced to move further away from Aleshki, the settlement next to the bridge, under the pressure of fire from the Ukrainian side.
