Over 40 K People Died Of COVID-19 In Belarus?

According to Belstat, the country's population fell by 60 thousand people last year.

At the beginning of this year, about 9.35 million people lived in Belarus, about 60.6 thousand less than a year earlier. Such information is contained in the statistical bulletin of Belstat, writes nn.by.

At the beginning of 2021, 9,349,645 people lived in the country. A year earlier it was 9,410,259, at the beginning of 2019 - 9,429,257.

According to Belstat, in 2020 the population of Belarus decreased by 19 thousand, and in 2021 by 60.7 thousand. The authorities hide the number of deaths from coronavirus, but statistics is stubborn, and even according to the official data, it turns out that more than 40 thousand people have died from COVID-19 in Belarus.
