Top managers of the Norwegian company Yara, a buyer of Belarusian fertilizers, will visit Salihorsk on September 18 for negotiations with the leadership of Belaruskali, naviny.by writes.

According to the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), Yara is concerned about what is happening at Belaruskali, where workers were detained and sentenced to 15 days of arrest for taking part in actions against the official results of the presidential election. During their trip to Salihorsk, Yara top managers are also planning to meet with representatives of trade unions to assess the situation at Belaruskali.

On September 15, the Norwegian company Yara, which is considered the world's largest buyer of mineral fertilizers, issued a statement expressing concern over the human rights situation in Belarus.
