After that, the Minister did not stay in isolation for 14 days, but was in contact with people.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Uladzimir Makei said that he had been in contact with a carrier of the new coronavirus, which forced him to limit his contacts temporarily, but the minister's tests for COVID-19 were negative. He informed about it on the air of the ONT channel.

"There were indeed some contacts with the virus carrier, so the doctors ordered me to observe certain restrictions, which I did. The tests were negative, so everything is fine. Today we have a standard working regime," - the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

He stressed that he hadn't been in 14-day isolation, but had worked and had been in contact with colleagues. "We tried to reduce those contacts to a minimum. And the colleagues I've been in contact with have also been tested - everything is fine," - the Minister said.

In mid-March, Interior Minister of Belarus Yuri Karayeu told reporters that he'd voluntarily gone under quarantine for two weeks, as he had attended a meeting where among the participants, there was a man infected with coronavirus. According to the minister, the results of his tests were negative.
