Young Teacher From Vileika Committed Suicide

The 25-year-old resident of Vileika drove to the forest on August 23 and disappeared.

The 25-year-old Vileika resident, who went to the forest by car on August 23 and disappeared, was found dead two days later. According to the Interior Ministry, the young man committed suicide.

Police officers, rescuers, local residents and volunteers of the Angel search and rescue team took part in the search. First they found the car, then the body. This happened in the forest around 8 p.m. on 25 August.

Siarhei Basko, an official representative of the Interior Ministry, told mlyn.by that the young man worked as a teacher at Vileika State College. According to the preliminary version, he committed suicide. The reason is not reported.

The Miadzel district department of the Investigative Committee is investigating into the fact of the death.

As Nasha Niva writes, the victim's name was Artsiom Kharashei, and he taught history at the college. He was supposed to be back from vacation on August 30. His colleagues say they didn't notice anything was wrong. Artsiom was in good register.
