Belarusians Picketed Russian Consulate In New York

The protest was organized in defense of the independence of Belarus.

On December 8, in New York, the Belarusians of America held a protest against the integration of Belarus and Russia.

This was reported by Belarusian activist in the U.S. Vadzim Vasilieyu.

"The Belarusians showed their discontent about the negotiations to deepen integration and supported their compatriots who came to the March of Free People in Minsk.

Special thanks go to the Russians and Ukrainians, who came to support the Belarusian patriots," - the activist reported.

We remind that on December 7 and 8, mass rallies for the independence of Belarus were held in Minsk. The rallies and marches lasted for 5 hours a day and gathered thousands of people.

The organizers of the campaign urged people to come to Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk at 18-00 on December 20, when new negotiations between Putin and Lukashenka will be held.
