It is a fantasy to expect that Russia will be able to arise like a Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 as the former USSR did. Only if Europe decides to reverse course and buy Russian gas and oil again at market prices will the economy rebound. India and China know that they have leverage now to demand prices at cost or below.

Putin has shown that he is a maleveant force; unless there is a complete change in leadership Russia is screwed. Plus Russia lost hundreds of thousands of (educated) people who fled before being conscripted. Will they return?
