Attack On Wildberries In Koledino: Moscow Region’s Air Defense Forces Set Fire To A Neighboring Warehouse

New details have emerged about the massive attack on Moscow and the Moscow Region.
Russian media reported that more than 390 drones were flying toward Moscow, 81 of which were allegedly intercepted by air defense forces as they approached. The target was presumably the Wildberries logistics center in Kaledino, but a neighboring warehouse ended up catching fire.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that the attack lasted ten hours—from 8:30 p.m. the previous day until 6:30 a.m. “Emergency response specialists are working at the crash site,” Sobyanin noted, without providing details on the consequences of the attack, but “Focus” has compiled everything that is known.
The OSINT channel Airborne Division reports that a warehouse complex belonging to the logistics operator “3PL,” with a total area of 18,300 square meters, is on fire in Kaledino, near Moscow. A large-scale fire broke out at the facility as a result of the strike, and it is alleged that the fire was caused by Russian air defense systems.
The Wildberries logistics center has not yet been affected. It is worth noting that Kaledino is not just a town, but one of the largest hubs for warehousing and distribution logistics in Russia.
It is home to massive Wildberries centers, warehouses belonging to other major companies, Class A logistics complexes, and terminals through which hundreds of thousands—and sometimes millions—of goods pass daily.
Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that one of the drones crashed into a high-rise building on Zemskaya Street in Chekhov, near Moscow. There was also a “tire fire in an open area.” According to an analysis of eyewitness footage conducted by Astra, the fire broke out on the grounds of the Chekhov Regeneration Plant, which specializes in processing worn-out automobile tires, rubber crumbs, and various rubber products. According to the company itself, it is one of Russia’s largest manufacturers in this sector.
Vorobyov also stated that “several dozen drones” were shot down over Domodedovo, Podolsk, Ramenskoye, and Kolomna.
It is noteworthy that Vorobyov did not report any fires on the factory grounds or in the warehouse.
Amid the massive drone attack in the Moscow Region, a drone hazard alert was in effect. Three airports—Vnukovo, Zhukovsky, and Domodedovo—imposed flight restrictions.
