The White House Has Confirmed The Meeting Between Zelenskyy And Trump

It has been revealed what the Ukrainian president's team is expecting.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are scheduled to meet in Washington on Tuesday, July 28, a White House spokesperson said.

This was reported by Reuters.

A Ukrainian source said that Zelenskyy is interested in traveling to the United States, but his team is awaiting official confirmation of Trump’s schedule from the White House.

The source added that Ukrainian and American officials had discussed a proposal for a ceasefire in the air, which was planned to be presented to Russian representatives as part of a new round of negotiations.

Earlier, “Suspilne,” citing sources, reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the U.S. next week, where plans to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.

During the visit, the Ukrainian president is expected to attend the funeral of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and hold a private meeting with Trump.

Zelenskyy and Trump last met during the NATO summit in Turkey.
