A Z-philosopher Called On The Kremlin To End The War

In his opinion, Russia is on the brink of disaster.

Russian "Z-philosopher" and pro-war advocate Boris Mezhuev unexpectedly called on the Kremlin to halt the so-called "special military operation" before it is too late. In his view, Russia is on the brink of disaster.

He made this bold statement on the state radio station “Komsomolskaya Pravda,” noted “Dialog”.

Mezhuev called for a ceasefire until Russia has not begun to actively lose the territories it has seized in Ukraine and until a humanitarian catastrophe has erupted in the largest cities of the Russian Federation.

“In my opinion, we should reconsider our approach to the goals of our ‘military operation’ and agree to a truce—perhaps less honorable, or as we say, ‘shameful’—but one that promises to preserve our territorial gains… This will require us to accept the existence of Ukraine in the form in which it, unfortunately, currently exists. At least for the time being. We are now facing what is effectively a civilizational catastrophe. We’re talking about people fleeing Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg… So perhaps we should reconsider the issues regarding Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, and other settlements that are so crucial to our victory? I understand that this is unpleasant… Perhaps, to prevent an apocalypse (the end of the world—ed.), we should first take some more moderate steps?” Mezhev said.

He called talk of a summer offensive by the Russian Armed Forces “meaningless,” since, in his opinion, there is practically no chance of capturing the entire Donbas.

“Right now, it seems to me that while this opportunity still exists (and it does for now), it’s better to resolve this issue by freezing the conflict, rather than expecting that we’ll carry out some sort of—perhaps successful—offensive operations this summer, assuming they’re successful at all. By that time, I don’t know what will remain of Crimea. As unpleasant as it may be for us to agree to this, it seems to me that this is a real chance to avoid the worst,” stated Z-Philosopher.
