A "singing" Bench Will Be Installed In Minsk In Honor Of Vladimir Mulyavin

As soon as someone sits down on it, music starts playing.

A "singing" bench will be installed in the Belarusian capital in memory of People's Artist and founder of the "Pesnyary" ensemble Vladimir Mulyavin. This was announced by the musician’s eldest daughter Marina Mulyavina.

The bench will be installed on the capital’s Vladimir Mulyavin Boulevard, next to the existing sculpture honoring the artist.

The bench works simply: as soon as someone sits down, music begins to play. Passersby will be able to listen to songs such as “Chyrvonaya Ruzha,” “Zavushnitsy,” and “Ulitsa bez konca.”


The new attraction is scheduled to open on July 3.
