Georgian PSG forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia did not speak Russian to a journalist in the mixed zone after the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League final in which the French club defeated Arsenal of London in a penalty shootout, Championat.com writes.
A video has surfaced online showing Kvaratskhelia being addressed in Russian during a press approach, but he refused to continue the conversation.
After PSG won the Champions League, a Russian journalist asked Georgian footballer Khvicha Kvaratskhelia a question in Russian:
"Can you talk about your emotions in Russian?"
