Bloomberg: SpaceX Has Filed For The Largest IPO In History

The company SpaceX billionaire Ilon Musk confidentially filed an application for an IPO with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States. This is reported by Bloomberg citing sources familiar with the situation. According to them, the company plans to raise $75 billion with a total valuation of its capitalization at $1.75 trillion. Thus, the stock offering will be the largest in history, far surpassing the current record - the IPO of oil company Saudi Aramco in 2019, when $29 billion was raised.
The media have been writing about SpaceX's plans to hold an IPO since late last year. Bloomberg reported then that the company plans to raise $30 billion.The media also wrote that the offering is scheduled to take place in June, timed to coincide with Ilon Musk's birthday and the Parade of the Planets. According to Bloomberg, the current filing has the same deadline.
Sources also said that SpaceX has sought help in preparing the offering from banks such as Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley. Earlier Reuters wrote that the company has involved a total of 21 banks.
