Ukrainians Shot Down Russian Ka-27 Helicopter

The helicopter was shot down over the waters of the Black Sea.

The forces and means of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed an enemy Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopter over the waters of the Black Sea, the Ukrainian Navy said in a statement.

The Ka-27 helicopter is equipped with weapons for hitting surface and submarines - AT-1MV torpedoes, depth bombs, aerial bombs weighing from 50 to 250 kilograms. In addition, the helicopter can also be equipped with guided anti-submarine missiles APR-2E. Its cost is more than 1.5 million dollars.
