The operation began on the morning of Thursday, March 5, around 06:00 local time.
"Polish Air Force planes flew out of Poland to support operations related to the evacuation of Polish citizens from the Middle East," the Operational Command of the country's Armed Forces said.
It was reported that on March 4, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful announced the start of an operation to repatriate Germans stranded in the Middle East.
The same day the first repatriation flight was completed by France. It was also written that the Spanish government will send an Airbus 330 military transport plane to the Middle East to return its citizens.
