Political Prisoner Elena Pankova Has Died

Political prisoner Elena Pankova, who was convicted last year for participation in protests, has died. This is reported by "Nasha Niva".

According to the publication, Elena died in February. The cause of death is not reported.

In the summer of 2025, Pankova was tried under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (Participation in actions that grossly violate public order) and sentenced to "home chemistry".

According to BelPol, the woman was left with an 18-year-old son.
