Russians Shot Down Their Helicopter Over The Rostov Region

Targeting a Ukrainian drone.

By the evening of March 3, Russian air defenses shot down its own helicopter with crew on board in the Rostov region - all its members were killed, "Focus" reported.

The helicopter was shot down as a result of so-called "friendly fire," Russian Z-publications wrote.

"The sky takes the best ... Eternal Flight. For the 5th year, Friendlyfire hasn't disappeared anywhere," the note reads.

At the same time, monitoring telegram channels released footage of a Russian helicopter being shot down.

Russian military bloggers also wrote that everyone aboard the helicopter shot down by Russian air defense did not survive.

Russian publication Astra wrote that the incident occurred near the Millerovo military airfield.

There was no official information from the Russian Defense Ministry or Rostov region authorities at the time of publication.
