Alexander Lukashenko demanded to strengthen the training of officers and ensure strict control over it not only in the units of the Armed Forces, but also in the Military Academy.

The dictator said this during the new appointments in the leadership of the State Secretariat of the Security Council, BelTA informs.

Lukashenko renewed the leadership of the State Secretariat of the Security Council on March 3. Alexander Neverovski was appointed First Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council, having previously served as Deputy State Secretary.

In turn, Andrei Gorbatenko was appointed Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council. Until now he has been in charge of the Military Academy.

Lukashenko said that both appointees will have to work in a difficult period:

- Not difficult not because we are surrounded by all sorts of rogues from politics and our rivals in military terms (if not to say tougher). That's not why," the dictator clarified, without clarifying who he meant.
