Debris Of A Flying Object Found In Poland Near The Border With Belarus

Police, military and firefighters are on the scene.

In Poland, in the forest near the village of Krzywowieżba near the border with Belarus and Ukraine found debris of a flying object of an unidentified type. This as reported by local police.

"Measures are being carried out at the site of discovery of the wreckage of an unidentified flying object. Its discovery was reported to police officers from Vlodava this morning by a resident of the Vyryky commune," police said.

The relevant services have been notified of the find. Police, fire brigade and the military are securing the scene.

The Polish Military Gendarmerie said the debris could be parts of an "allied missile".

"A department of the Military Gendarmerie in Lublin is conducting proceedings related to the discovery of an aerial object in Krzywowieżba. According to preliminary data, it may be the wreckage of an allied missile used to shoot down a drone last September," the gendarmerie said.
