On March 16, the Lithuanian government will receive modern industrial drones designed to guard the state border and counter smuggling balloon flights, LRT reported.
The drones will be officially handed over with the participation of Prime Minister Inga Ruginenė, representatives of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union and vice president of tobacco company Philip Morris International Mihal Merzheev.
After the handover, the drones' capabilities will be demonstrated publicly at Vintsas Kudirka Square in Vilnius. It is reported that the technology is adapted to work in difficult conditions.
