Ukraine's armed forces attacked Moscow en masse over the weekend of March 14-15, The Moscow Times reported.
From about 12:30 p.m. Saturday to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, 95 drones were shot down on their approach to the Russian capital, according to reports from Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. 30 drones were intercepted by air defense forces after midnight. Rosaviatsia imposed restrictions on the reception and dispatch of flights at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky airports. They resumed normal operation after 11:30. At that time, 37 flights were delayed: 17 - in Vnukovo, 13 - in Domodedovo and seven - in Sheremetyevo.
The drone attack on Moscow has become the largest since the beginning of the year. A similar one happened a year ago - on the night of March 11: then 91 drones were shot down on the approach to the capital, three people were killed in the Moscow region. On the consequences of the last attack neither Sobyanin nor the Defense Ministry reported. According to Mash and Shot, the drones were spotted in Moscow's Troitsky district, near the Central Ring Road, in the Moscow suburbs of Istra, Korolev, Dubna, Ramenskoye and Volokolamsk. Before that, the Russian capital was attacked on March 8. At that time, Sobyanin reported six drones shot down.
