Trump: Remnants Of Iran's Military Industry Will Be Dismantled Within Two Days
Donald Trump

The US president has refused to enter into a ceasefire agreement with the regime in Tehran.

The U.S. and Israel continue massive airstrikes against critical Iranian facilities. Despite reports of Tehran's plight, the White House does not yet see the possibility of a diplomatic settlement of the conflict on current terms. US President Donald Trump said this in an interview with NBC News.

He made it clear that he is in no hurry to sign peace documents. According to the American leader, Tehran already "wants to make an agreement," but Washington has a different position.

"And I don't want to do it because the conditions are not good enough yet," Trump emphasized in a conversation with reporters.

As the publication notes, the president refused to specify the US demands, saying, "I don't want to tell you that." At the same time, he reiterated that a fundamental part of any future agreements must be a complete and absolute renunciation of Iran's nuclear ambitions. Trump insisted that any final terms must be "extremely credible" and "very clear."

With regard to the progress of the fighting, the leader said the Iranian army is virtually devoid of defenses and offensive capabilities.

"We have destroyed most of their missiles. We have destroyed most of their drones. We have almost completely stopped their production of missiles and drones," the president was quoted as saying

He also added that the remaining production facilities will be eliminated in the next two days.
