Netanyahu Wants Talks With Zelensky

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has sent Ukraine a request to hold talks with President Vladimir Zelensky, reports Ynet.

Sources say the initiative is related to the intention to strengthen cooperation between the countries in the field of countering Iranian drones. The Israeli side is interested in the exchange of experience, given Ukraine's practice in intercepting drones during the war.

The Ukrainian ambassador to Israel Evgeny Korniychuk confirmed the receipt of the relevant request. According to him, a telephone conversation between the leaders of the two states may take place as early as early next week.

It is expected that one of the key topics of discussion will be possible cooperation in the field of technologies and methods of countering drone threats.

Ukraine has considerable experience in fighting Iranian drones, which was gained during the war. Ukrainian specialists have developed effective methods of detecting and destroying such drones, and have helped the defense industry create new technologies to counter such threats.
