Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli army has attacked more than 200 targets inside Iran.
The Israel Defense Forces reported new results of Operation Operation Lion's Roar against the Iranian regime's targets. According to data from the military, more than 200 targets, which the Israeli side calls terrorist, were hit over the past 24 hours.
A spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces said strikes on infrastructure continue to intensify. He said the Israeli Air Force has flown about 400 combat sorties over western and central Iran since the start of the operation. The main focus is on destroying firing systems, air defenses and military infrastructure.
The army specified that dozens of ballistic missile launchers were destroyed in the attacks. Some of them, according to the Israeli military, were already loaded and were preparing to be launched toward Israel. Defense systems as well as weapons launch and storage sites were also hit.
The IDF stressed that the sorties were aimed at destroying infrastructure and units in charge of fire, defense and production tasks in western Iran in order to minimize the scale of rocket attacks on Israeli territory.
In addition, the Israeli army reported a pinpoint operation into Tehran. According to the military, the IAF, led by AMAN intelligence, carried out a targeted strike that eliminated Abdallah Jalali-Nasb and Amir Shariat, high-ranking members of the intelligence division of Hatam al-Nabia's emergency headquarters.
The IDF noted that after the head of the intelligence unit, Saleh Asadi, was eliminated at the beginning of the operation, Jalali-Nasb and Shariat effectively became his deputies. The Israeli military describes them as key figures in the Iranian intelligence community and people close to the country's top leadership.
The intelligence division of Khatam al-Nabia headquarters analyzes intelligence information and regularly briefs Iran's top security officials. On the basis of this data, the IDF says, it plans combat operations against Israel.
The army emphasized that the elimination of these officers was another serious blow to the command and coordination system of Iranian forces. According to the Israeli military, dozens of high-ranking commanders of the Iranian regime have already been eliminated since the start of the operation.
"The IDF will continue to take decisive action against the commanders of Iran's terrorist regime," the army said.
