Politicians discussed the situation in the Middle East.
On March 13, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met in France with Crown Prince of Iran Reza Pahlavi.
It is noted that during the meeting the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East, the mood in Iranian society and the state of power in Iran.
The Crown Prince of Iran also expressed interest in a more direct dialog and asked for one-on-one talks with President Zelensky.
"Met in Paris with the heir to the throne of Iran Reza Pahlavi. Discussed in detail the situation in Iran and the region, as well as the American operation against the terrorist regime. The prince and his team informed me about the signals they are receiving from inside the country. The power vertical has indeed already suffered significant losses and it is important that the Iranian regime does not win anything and that people in Iran get more life protection and opportunities to determine their own destiny. Discussed how international pressure and joint efforts can help this.
Ukraine really wants to see a free Iran that will not cooperate with Russia and destabilize the Middle East region, Europe and the world. I am grateful to the Crown Prince for his clear assurances of support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Our teams will keep in touch," - said Zelensky.
We will remind, on February 13, President Vladimir Zelensky in Munich for the first time met with the Crown Prince of Iran in exile Reza Pahlavi.
