Nothing will divert Europe's attention from Ukraine.

At a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Paris on Friday, French President Emmanuel Macron assured continued support for Kiev despite the world's attention to events in Iran.

"At a time when the eyes of many are on Iran, this visit by President Volodymyr Zelensky has a special meaning for me. It allows me to emphasize that nothing will divert our attention from Ukraine, which for more than 4 years has been confronting Russia's aggression with extraordinary perseverance and courage," he said.

Macron assured that "our support will not wane."

He also emphasized that the current dynamic "demonstrates Moscow's triple defeat: strategic defeat, economic defeat, moral defeat."

"Russia may think that the war in Iran will give it some respite, but it is wrong," Macron said.
