A video has surfaced.
Amid the escalating conflict between the United States and Iran, a 45-meter Boeing E-6B Mercury, known as a "doomsday" plane, has been spotted in the skies of California.
This is reported by Fox26.News.
The plane had been performing training activities for about two hours, specifically simulating a landing at Fresno-Yosemite International Airport.
Airport officials confirmed that the plane was flying around the airport. However, those who published photos of the plane, which was flying low over a small town in California, called its presence in United States airspace "disturbing."

Boeing E-6B Mercury is a transponder aircraft and strategic air command center. It provides survivable and durable air command, control and communications between the national command and strategic and non-strategic U.S. forces.
The aircraft can relay messages to nuclear-armed submarines below the ocean surface using a very low-frequency communication system with dual wire antennas.
The aircraft can stay in the air for up to 7 days due to its ability to refuel right in flight. This is why it can act as a mobile headquarters in case of total destruction of ground infrastructure.
History of the Boeing E-6B
The E-6B is based on the commercial Boeing 707. In general, it connects the nation's top officials and America's nuclear arsenal, allowing the President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense to communicate with bombers and missile silos.
The aircraft made its first flight in October 1998. It is capable of carrying up to 22 crew members. Its deployment is reported to last three weeks.
