Russia's Samara Region Massively Attacked By Drones: Chemical Plant On Fire

On the night of March 11, drones attacked Russia's Samara region en masse. Explosions were heard throughout the night in Samara, Syzran and Togliatti, where the attack started a fire.
Drones may have attacked the KuibyshevAzot chemical plant located in the city of Togliatti in the Samara region. This is reported by OSINT-analysts.
The attack at the plant is tentatively blazing shop 11, the monitoring channels write. The plant itself specializes in making chemicals such as caprolactam, polyamide-6, technical thread, ammonium nitrate, urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonia, weak nitric acid and the like. "KuibyshevAzot" has been in operation since 1966.
Official confirmation of the plant's defeat has not been received at the time of publication.




Russian Telegram channels also reported that at least 10 explosions went off in Samara and Syzran around 03:00 hours amid a drone attack. In Syzran, explosions were heard in different parts of the city: they were so strong that "windows in apartments shook," eyewitnesses said. Also eyewitnesses reported bright flashes in the sky and active work of air defense in the region.
After the explosions in Syzran also observed fire and smoke in one of the districts. However, what exactly is blazing is not reported at the time of publication.
On the night of March 11, drones also massively attacked Taganrog and at least five districts in the Rostov region, according to rossMedia. Local authorities said at least 40 drones allegedly repelled the strike and damaged power lines (power lines) as a result of the attack.
