The Ministry Of Health Commented On The Tragedy In Dzerzhinsk, Where A Woman In Labor And A Child Died

The sale and medical use of one of the medicines was stopped.
Head of the main department of the organization of medical care of the Ministry of Health of Belarus Leonid Neden commented on the tragedy, which occurred on March 8 in Dzerzhinsk central district hospital, where a woman died.
The Ministry did not name the cause of death. It is also reported that it was decided to temporarily suspend the sale and medical use of one of the medicines, but its name was not specified.
The Ministry of Health expressed condolences to the family of the deceased. Now the circumstances of the incident are being studied by a special commission of freelance specialists of the Ministry, which evaluates all stages of medical care.
The final diagnosis will be established after receiving the results of pathological anatomical autopsy and forensic medical examination.
In parallel, the Dzerzhinsky district department of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the death of a 26-year-old pregnant woman. An investigation team worked on the site: medical documents, used drugs and instruments were seized, and eyewitnesses were interviewed.
Investigators said that special attention will be paid to the causes and conditions that could have led to the death of the patient and her unborn child.
In social networks earlier, information about the death of a woman and an infant in Dzerzhinsky CRB appeared. According to unconfirmed reports, on March 8, the woman's water broke at about 34 weeks of pregnancy, after which she was taken to the hospital. The publications also claimed that she had suffered anaphylactic shock in the medical institution.
