A barracks building was hit at Al-Azraq airbase.
Iran has attacked with ballistic missiles the German part of Jordan's Al-Azraq airbase, where the US Air Force is also stationed.
It was reported by Spiegel.
A barracks building belonging to the German contingent was reportedly hit.
Since German soldiers were in shelters at the time of the attack, no one was injured. It is still unclear whether it was the missiles that hit the base or the missile debris intercepted by the air defense.
"German armed forces have been permanently stationed in Al-Azraq for several years; from there, the Air Force supports the international anti-terrorist coalition with refueling planes. Due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, the German Armed Forces have already preemptively reduced their personnel in Al-Azraq; previously, a small triple-digit number of soldiers were stationed there," the publication writes.
