Poland Declared An Airspace Violation

Another weather balloon attack.

On the night of February 9, 2026, military radar systems detected another penetration of Polish airspace by objects resembling meteosondes. This was reported by the Operational Command of the branches of the Polish Armed Forces.

"The objects were promptly identified and were under constant control of military intelligence systems. The situation was fully controlled and posed no threat to the safety of air traffic or citizens of the Republic of Poland," the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland writes.

It is noted that the Polish military cooperates with the services responsible for the security of the state and transmits information that allows for a sufficiently rapid response, including the detention of people suspected of involvement in these incidents.
