Alexander Lukashenko spoke by phone with Russian ruler Vladimir Putin on the evening of February 8. This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian dictator.
The main topic of the conversation was the upcoming meeting of the Supreme State Council of the "Union State." The dictators discussed the time and dates of the meeting, the agenda and other issues of preparation for the upcoming event, "which will consider key aspects of integration cooperation between Belarus and Russia," said the press service of Lukashenko.
In addition, the parties discussed "a number of topical issues of Belarusian-Russian relations with a focus on the implementation of joint projects," touched on "international issues, the development of the situation in the region.
