Britain's defense secretary has revealed details.
Britain will soon hand over to Ukraine a large air defense reinforcement package that will include about a thousand missiles.
British Defense Secretary John Gillie said this, Sky News reported.
"The UK is announcing a defense package of more than 574 million euros for air defense and missiles for Ukraine," Gili said.
He said the UK will for the first time contribute a large tranche to buy weapons for the AFU under the PURL program. Also, a thousand more Belfast-made light multipurpose air defense missiles will be delivered to Ukraine under a separate agreement worth 448 million euros.
"As we approach the fifth year of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the UK and our allies are more committed than ever to supporting Ukraine," he added.
