The invaders were left out of touch.
Russian authorities began slowing down Telegram for Russians. And this had a "side effect" that was clearly not taken into account by those who made the decision and put it into practice: Russian occupants began to complain that they were left without communication at the front.
Soldiers of the occupation army recorded video messages in which they accused Roskomnadzor of destroying "interaction between everyone," which allegedly has already led to the "death of fighters." What and why the occupiers are outraged about was told by the Russian publication "Important Stories," which quotes OBOZ.UA
Occupants complain that they are left without communication
In Z-publics and among Russian occupiers, the decision of "Roskomnadzor" to slow down Telegram caused a real hysteria. Thus, the soldiers of the army of the aggressor state accused officials of being left without communication at the front.
They began to record video messages in which they outline their claims and tell about the consequences of the slowdown of Telegram for the occupation army. It is noteworthy that the occupants prefer to chop the "truth-matka" while covering their faces.
In one of the videos, the occupier says Telegram allows the invaders to quickly share information and coordinate anti-UAV activities. He says the new restrictions complicate this process, which "was established with great, great difficulty."
"I would like to ask the RKN a question: did you ask us? Did any of you come and find out if it would be useful?" - he resents.
In another video message, another occupant calls Telegram "the only chain" through which you can contact various structures and agencies.
"Please, before you do this, think whether it is necessary and who needs it," he appealed to Russian officials.
The Z-publiks complain that slowing down Telegram not only disrupts "interaction between everyone," but also leads to the death of the occupiers while the authorities "by force" drive everyone to Max and VKontakte.
"Komvzvododa just said in his heart: burn in hell to them, those who block TG. Almost all the interaction in TG, and we have a platoon of collection and evacuation of wounded, if anything, on the front line. It doesn't load ni-he-ra," writes one of Z-bloggers about what he heard from the occupants in the Zaporizhzhya direction.
The occupants complain that almost all communication of ambulance services is built through Telegram: the messenger establishes communication between brigades, transfers calls and sends ECGs to the cardiopult.
In addition, Z-bloggers are outraged that strengthening restrictions against Telegram will hit communications in the combat zone and troop management.
One of the publicks calls Telegram "a key communication channel that allows coordinating the actions of units, transmitting orders, coordinates, data from drones" and states that "there is no working alternative to messenger."
"Telegram actually performs the role of a 'field headquarters in your pocket'. Therefore, any slowdown directly hits the manageability of the troops. Officers estimate that the loss of rapid transmission of video and images reduces coordination efficiency by 20-30%, especially in logistics and target designation," this Z-public is outraged.
And there are many such outraged posts in Russian channels.
