Ukraine is counting on the implementation of the Graham Reorganization Act.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with a U.S. Congressional delegation that arrived in Kyiv on October 9.

The head of state announced this on social media.

“I am grateful to the U.S. Congressional delegation—Roger Wicker, Kevin Cramer, Mark Vici, and Dan Crenshaw—for standing with our people today amid virtually nonstop Russian attacks. Russia is not getting what it wanted on the battlefield and is trying to compensate for this by escalating the conflict,” the head of state said.

He noted that an air raid alert was in effect throughout their meeting in Kyiv due to the threat of “Shahed” drones.

“In the capital alone, and just since the beginning of this month, the Russians have damaged two schools with such drones; there have been strikes on bridges, the energy sector, and other critical infrastructure,” Zelenskyy reported.

The president expressed his conviction that protection against this terror is possible only through joint efforts.

“And we discussed how the United States can help save lives. Of course, we expect the Lindsey Graham Act to be enacted. This is a matter of political will, and it is now important to show leadership and completely cut off the flow of funds to the Russian war machine,” the head of state emphasized.

In addition, the parties discussed other necessary steps, in particular accelerating the licensing of missile production for Patriot systems.

“Ukraine is ready not only to produce missile defense systems for itself, but also to strengthen the positions of the United States and its allies through joint production,” the president stated.

He thanked the United States for its unwavering support.
