Troops From Russia And CSTO Countries Have Arrived In Belarus

The Ministry of Defense stated that the exercises “are not directed against third countries.”

Military personnel from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are arriving in Belarus for Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) exercises, according to Ministry of Defense.

The servicemen will take part in the “Unbreakable Brotherhood—2026” command-post exercises, during which they will practice preparing for and conducting a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO’s collective peacekeeping forces.

In addition, they will participate in a special exercise involving a joint CSTO unit for radiation, chemical, and biological protection and medical support.

“The exercises are routine in nature and are not directed against third countries,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
