Verka Serduchka Spoke Out Strongly About The War In Ukraine

A video featuring the artist's emotional statement went viral online.

Andriy Danylko, performing as Verka Serduchka, addressed the audience with an emotional statement about the war in Ukraine during a concert in Paris. A clip of the performance was captured on video, which audience members posted on Instagram.

Verka Serduchka’s final concert in Paris took place on October 21. During the performance, the artist removed the silver star from his head—one of the most recognizable elements of his stage persona—and invited the audience to make a wish.

“We have only one wish—for this f…ing war to end! Glory to Ukraine!”

The audience greeted Danilko’s words with applause.
