The plan calls for raising hundreds of billions of dollars for postwar reconstruction.

After the end of the war, Ukraine may receive a duty-free free trade zone with the USA, which will contribute to the country's recovery. This was announced by the special envoy of the US President Steve Whitkoff.

"The President (of the United States, - ed.) spoke about the creation of a duty-free zone for Ukraine, which will dramatically change the situation," Whitkoff said.

He believes that the implementation of such a model will provide businesses with a competitive advantage in the U.S. market due to the absence of customs barriers.

Whitkoff suggested that if this idea is realized, industrial enterprises could move to Ukraine on a large scale. "Imagine being able to outpace your competitors because you don't pay duties to ship goods to the United States," he explained.

Whitkoff's remarks came on the eve of a trip to Russia, where Trump administration officials will work on various versions of a peace plan that Ukraine and Russia could conclude.
