New Ambassador Of Belarus To Russia And Minister Of Finance Appointed

The former ambassador to the Russian Federation was sent to lead Vitsebsk region.

Lukashenko has appointed a new ambassador of Belarus to Russia. He became Yuri Seliverstov, who previously served as Finance Minister. Vladislav Tatarinovich, who previously served as deputy chairman of the so-called Council of the Republic, has been appointed to the post of Finance Minister.

Yuri Seliverstov will simultaneously represent Belarus in integration structures and will receive the powers of Deputy Prime Minister.

Reminder that the previous ambassador of Belarus to Russia from June 2024 was Alexander Rogozhnik, who was appointed chairman of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee on January 15.
