Lukashenko Signs Document To Join Trump's 'peace Council'

The dictator hopes to break out of international isolation.

Alexander Lukashenko has signed a document on the country's joining the "Peace Council" on Gaza and fulfilling the provisions of its charter, BelTA reports.

"I have signed a corresponding appeal to the United States that we are ready to accept their proposal, to become the founders of this Council," the usurper said.

The regime, as the agency notes, joined the council in accordance with the procedure outlined in a letter from US President Donald Trump.

The dictator also said that "no money is needed" to join the Peace Council.

"A billion is needed if you want to work in three years. But there is another condition: if you work well, cooperate for peace, you can continue working without a billion. I am focused on the second one," Lukashenko said.
