Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that he is staying in Ukraine, where he is coordinating services because of the situation in the energy sector.
He said that this is now "the top priority" and he is "choosing Ukraine," referring to his trip to the economic forum in Davos.
"So far, I have a plan to help people with the energy sector. I've had proper consultations with the energy headquarters... It's the top priority right now. But things can change every minute, because it is very important for me, for Ukrainians to end this war," the president said while speaking to reporters.
He said that the "prosperity plan" and security guarantees, which were planned to be signed in Davos with the United States, have not yet been fully agreed upon. His trip could still take place if the agreements turn out to be ready to be signed or there are decisions on air defense supplies or new aid to Kiev.
Axios also confirms that the signing of Zelensky's "prosperity plan" with Donald Trump has been canceled. At the same time, the publication's American source noted that no dates have been set in principle, the plan still needs to be finalized.
