Many Minsk Residents Are Still Without Heat

The accident was never fixed.

January 19, residents of five districts of the Belarusian capital were left without heating and hot water due to damage to a section of the heating main of CHPP-4.

Minskenergo promised that the restoration work would go on around the clock, while Minister of Energy Denis Moroz reported on the elimination of the accident by the evening.

But the officials' words and reality did not coincide - on the morning of January 20, many houses in Frunzenski and Kastrychnitski districts still had no heat.
