The occupier had an "epiphany" after a few days on the front lines.

An Uzbek citizen was captured by the AFU on the Limanskoye direction, who came to the war to get Russian citizenship and promised payments.

This was reported by Telegram channel of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade of the AFU "Steel Lions".

The man was wounded during the assault and lost his way. He got to the positions of the Ukrainian military, where he was detained.

In his video message, he said that he came to Russia to work as a construction worker, hoping to obtain Russian citizenship. He was promised a Russian passport for a year of service in the army, as well as significant financial payments.

"They paid 2 million rubles. 100,000 I used myself, 800,000 I sent home, and 1,100,000 remained on my card," the prisoner confessed.

He also admitted that he had never served in the army before, and it was the first time he went to the front.

After a few days on the front line, he said, he realized that he "did not want war" and "regretted" that he had taken this path.

"I thought I would serve in the army and come back. It turns out that this is not the army, here you have to kill a man," the prisoner of war said.
