A meeting of Ukrainian and American delegations on peace in Ukraine has been held in the United States of America. Now the negotiations have been completed.

Sources in the delegation told the publication that "the meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations in Miami has ended." On the Ukrainian side, the talks were attended by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and the head of the AFU General Staff Andrei Gnatov.
Negotiations on the US peace plan
Remember, in November, the US presented a new peace plan to end the war in Ukraine, which was developed by Trump's special envoy Steve Whitkoff and Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev.
The original version of the document had 28 points, but frankly they were very favorable to Russia. Therefore, on October 23 and 30, the U.S. and Ukrainian delegations held consultations to finalize the document and make it more favorable to Kiev. Already on Tuesday, December 2, Steve Whitkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner arrived in Moscow to meet with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin to discuss the already updated document.
After 5 hours of talks, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov came out to the media. He said that a compromise had not yet been found, but the sides were ready to work further.
His words were taken as a rejection of the American proposal.
A few days later, Putin himself spoke out on the subject. He said that he rejected part of the peace proposals and said that the document now has 27 points and is divided into 4 "packages". Although before the talks in Russia there was information that the document had been reduced to 19-20 points after consultations with Ukraine.
The NYT newspaper specified that one of the "packages" mentioned above concerns Ukrainian sovereignty. In particular, restrictions on the number of the AFU and the range of missiles. The other packages are already about territorial concessions, economic cooperation between the US and the Russian Federation after the war, as well as broader European security issues.
After the meeting in the Kremlin, it was announced that the US and Ukrainian delegations will now hold a new, already third meeting. In particular, we wrote about its completion above.
Before that, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that the delegation's task was to get full information about what was heard in the Kremlin.
